Federal Depository Library Program

A member of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) since 1907, Kansas State University  Libraries is committed to assisting the citizens of Kansas in finding and accessing U.S. government  information.

Some facts about our collection:

  • We currently have 78% of all the documents available through the Govenment Printing Office (GPO)
  • There are 17 other depository libraries throughout Kansas so please be assured that if you can't find something here, we can borrow it for you from one of the other depositories.
  • Most government documents can be checked out for the same check out period as the rest of the Libraries' regular collection.

For further assistance:

  • Each depository designates a coordinator whose responsibilities include research assistance. Although most research requests can be handled by Library Help, located on the 2nd floor of Hale Library, you can also make an appointment with Regina Beard for more in-depth assistance.
